It came to my attention that I don't have my deodorant recipe on the website. I've mixed and modified several other recipes that I found online to create this. We've used it now for years and it works well for us. Use a VERY small amount - it doesn't take much, and too much will make the underarms of your clothing oily.

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup GMO-free cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons beeswax
  • 2 tablespoons shea butter
  • 10-20 drops essential oil (spruce, ylang ylang, lavender, whatever)

  • Combine all of the ingredients except essential oil in a small pan.
  • Cook while stirring over medium heat until everything is dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and stir in essential oil.
  • Let cool for about 10 minutes.
  • When the mixture just starts to thicken, stir and pour into container (glass is preferable). You may need to stir again as it cools.
